Installer

1) Remove any existing versions of RapidCode Motion Studio. Open Add or Remove Programs using the Control Panel (if applicable).

-Example shows RapidCode Motion Studio being removed.

2) Download the latest release of RMS-RapidCode Motion Studio from the RSI website, http://www.roboticsys.com/Downloads

-Download is normally between 11-12 MB and is in zip format.

-Extract the zip file (RapidCodeMotionStudio4.1.18forSynqNet03.04.14) to a location of your choice. The zip file is a Windows Installer Package and is password protected. Please contact RSI for password information.

3) Install the current version.

-Run the Windows Installer Package to install RapidCode Motion Studio.

-Be sure to read over and agree with the License Agreement, click Next to continue.

-The default and recommended folder is C:\, click Next to continue.

-Click Next to continue.

-The installation progress screen will indicate when setup is complete.

-Installation is now complete; click Finish to close the Setup Wizard.

4) Installing a SynqNet Motion Controller with the automatic Find New Hardware process.

-Right click on My Computer, select Properties.

-In the Properties Window select the Hardware tab, and click on Device Manager.

-In the Device Manager Window, double click on the Other PCI Bridge Device.

-The Found New Hardware Wizard will open. Check the button next to 'Install from a list or specific location (Advanced),' then click Next.

-Check the button next to 'Search for the best driver in these locations,' and the box next to 'Include this location in the search.' Include C: in the search, click Next to continue.

-The Wizard will search for the Motion Controller.

-After the Wizard has found the Motion Controller click Finish.
