SynqNetFolder

Introduction

The SynqNet folder (commonly c:\) contains all the files necessary to configure and build a SynqNet motion control system. The contents of a SynqNet folder will contain all the files for a SPECIFIC SynqNet version, such as 03.04.19. To change/update SynqNet versions, you'll need a new SynqNet folder for the new version.

File Types

• .EXE files -- utilities such as RapidSetup, Version, Flash, etc.
• .H files -- header files (rsi.h, etc.) required for building C++ applications
• .LIB files -- import libraries to use when linking C++ applications
• .DLL files -- dynamic link libraries (RSIQVC.DLL, etc.) required to run C++ applications
• .BIN files -- motion controller firmware files
• .DM files -- drive map modules, useful for drive utilities
• .FPG files -- motion controller FPGA files, necessary when downloading firmware
• .SFF files -- FPGA files for each SynqNet node
