1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. This may include email addresses, phone numbers, names, countries, company names, and company websites.

Information automatically collected

Some information — such as your IP address, approximate country, and browser/device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services. This includes log and usage data, device data, location data, and analytics data collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics and, with your consent, Google Analytics. When you arrive at or submit a form on our site, we also capture marketing-attribution data to understand how visitors find us: the referring website or app (including AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity), campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), advertising click identifiers (such as gclid), the page you entered the site on, and an anonymous, randomly generated identifier used to recognize repeat visits. This identifier is not linked to your name unless you submit it to us in a form.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons: to deliver and facilitate delivery of services, respond to inquiries, send administrative information, fulfill and manage orders, enable user-to-user communications, and to save or protect an individual's vital interests.

3. What legal bases do we rely on?

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason — like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We may share data with vendors, consultants, and other third-party service providers who perform services for us, including ad networks, social networks, sales & marketing tools, website hosting service providers, and data analytics services. We may also share information in connection with business transfers or when using Google Maps Platform APIs.

5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. We also store a small amount of marketing-attribution data in your browser's local and session storage, as described above. Attribution data tied to a single browsing session is stored on a functional basis; the durable, cross-visit identifier and first-touch/last-touch records are stored only after you accept analytics in our consent banner, and they expire automatically after 90 days. Specific information about our use of such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our consent banner and in your browser controls.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

7. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor's use of the Services.

9. What are your privacy rights?

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the contact information below.

10. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate to signal your privacy preference. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized; we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

11. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine The Light" law) permits California residents to request and obtain information once a year and free of charge regarding categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

12. Do we make updates to this notice?

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.

13. How can you contact us about this notice?

If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may email us at tech@roboticsys.com.

14. EEA & UK visitors

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the following applies. The data controller is Robotic Systems Integration, Inc. (Chicago, IL, USA); you can reach us at contact@roboticsys.com. We rely on these legal bases to process your personal information: your consent (for analytics and marketing-attribution cookies and storage, which you may withdraw at any time via our consent banner or your browser controls, without affecting processing carried out beforehand); our legitimate interests (to respond to your inquiry and to keep our site secure); and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (for evaluation or trial requests). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. We are based in the United States, and your data is transferred to and processed in the US by us and our service providers (such as Cloudflare and Google); these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep contact and inquiry data only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and thereafter as required by our legal obligations; marketing-attribution data expires automatically after 90 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office).
