Modular SSD tray
The iPC400 incorporates a front-accessible, hot-swappable SSD tray that simplifies storage replacement and upgrades. Technicians can remove or secure drives without opening the chassis, reducing downtime during maintenance.
All cables front-facing
The iPC400 brings every critical connection (LAN, USB, serial, video, and power) onto a single front panel, eliminating side and rear cabling. Technicians can wire, probe, or replace peripherals directly from the cabinet door, cutting service time dramatically.
Hidden & concealed USB bay
This system includes a recessed USB compartment within the chassis, purpose-built to physically isolate critical peripherals such as software license keys. The design minimizes accidental disconnection during operation or maintenance while preserving external I/O accessibility.
Supports 65W CPUs via auxiliary cooling
The system accommodates higher TDP processors (including 65W-class CPUs) by leveraging an optional external fan kit. This thermal extension enables expanded performance configurations without exceeding enclosure heat dissipation limits, ensuring system stability in demanding workloads.
PCIe Gen5 expansion in a compact form
The iPC402 variant extends the iPC400 platform with two high-bandwidth PCIe Gen5 slots, enabling integration of advanced I/O, data acquisition, or specialized motion control cards. The iPC400 is validated with RSI’s RMP EtherCAT Motion Controller for reliable 125 μs communication cycles, ensuring deterministic real-time performance.
